On December 14, the ‘Art Party’ was organized by Slate Nest at the roadside bookshop called ‘Chinaki Kitap Ghar’ in Panbazar. This event served as an inaugural function, primarily attended by friends and family.

The first activity paid tribute to Niki de Saint Phalle’s shooting painting. Participants and pedestrians worked together to shoot balloons filled with paint. When these balloons burst, they splattered colours on a large canvas placed next to them.

The second activity was visual storytelling, where all participants jumped up to draw on a big blackboard with chalk. They created various drawings and interacted visually with each other’s artwork. Subsequently, the participants crafted stories based on the drawings on the board and even devised a moral for the tale.
