After finishing his M.A. in Shimla, Manash began his career with great energy and enthusiasm. During this exciting time, he participated in various events that highlighted his creativity and talent while also spending a lot of time creating impressive paintings. His work with textiles broadened his artistic skills as he experimented with different techniques and materials to produce unique art that showed his love for art. Through these creative activities, Manash expressed his thoughts and feelings, growing as a versatile artist in today’s art world.
He often went outside to paint the stunning views in his beautiful hometown, capturing the bright colors of sunrises and sunsets. His love for art led him to neighboring states like Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya, where the rich greenery and unique cultures gave him endless inspiration. On one memorable trip, he hitched a ride from Parushuram Kund in Arunachal Pradesh, known for its calm beauty and spiritual importance, and continued on to the far east of the state, exploring the charming Dong Village and the remote Kibithoo. This journey was more than just a trip; it was a chance for him to connect with local people and explore the details of the landscapes he loved to paint, creating lasting memories.
In another unforgettable backpacking trip, he traveled to the beautiful state of Karnataka in southern India. He began in Gwalior, where he happily reunited with school friends after ten years, sharing stories and memories. Feeling nostalgic, he then traveled south to Karnataka, rich in history and culture. There, he explored ancient caves adorned with intricate sculptures, each one telling a story from the past. The warm welcome from locals and the vibrant scenery made his journey even more rewarding, as he connected deeply with Karnataka’s proud heritage.
During this time, he explored and tried to understand himself, engaging in different forms of expression to discover his true identity. Then the pandemic struck, a chaotic time that changed everything and brought uncertainty. During this period, he struggled to create art due to a lack of inspiration. The challenges of isolation weighed him down, stifling his creativity and leaving him feeling lost. To make matters worse, an accident during the lockdown affected his mobility, making it even harder for him to pursue his passion. Bedridden for months, he battled feelings of helplessness and missed the lively world outside. However, over time, his artistic instincts began to push him to start painting again. He began making drawings with crayons while lying in bed, finding comfort in creating, where colors became his friends, and his imagination could play freely, turning his time in confinement into a canvas of hope and renewal.
